Margery visiting the archives
Following the successful launch of the website and related media coverage, we have had a number of people coming forward with information about the soldiers. One particularly exciting moment was when the daughter of Alf Davis, Margery Harrison, got in touch and came to see her father’s entry in the original visitors books. Margery was able to give us even more information about Alf which we will be adding to the website soon. We have also had the great-grandson of the station master at the East Station come forward, so we are looking forward to hearing more from him.

It is so wonderful to learn all about my uncle from my cousin who until recently I never knew existed, I hope this site brings other familys together.
