After three years of relentless research by a dedicated group of Vivacity volunteers, the ‘Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Rest’ exhibition is due to open on Saturday 20 January 2018. The exhibition will be held in the main gallery at Peterborough Museum and will run until the Sunday 15 April 2018.
This poignant exhibition will provide an insight into the servicemen and civilians who wrote in the visitors’ books as they waited for their train at Peterborough East Station. The stories will be told using audio and visual methods rather than the traditional format which will enable visitors to gain a new perspective on the information.
The exhibition is free so do come along and bring your family and friends with you.
