Biography

Private A Gray was serving with the 328th Field Ambulance Royal Army Medical Corps when he passed through Peterborough East Station on 12 April 1917.  He wrote in the visitors’ book “After travelling for 8 hours I found food and comfort at the Soldiers and Sailors Rest Room and I thank the ladies for the good work which they are doing on behalf of the Soldiers and Sailors.”  He was stationed at Ipswich.
