Biography

Signaller A Morrice, who was serving with the 2/4th Battalion Black Watch, passed through Peterborough East Station on 13 July 1916.  He was based at Blicking Camp, near Aylsham in Norfolk.

Unfortunately, Signaller Morrice’s service records have not survived so we cannot positively identify him.  However, we think he could be Private Alexander Morrice who served with both the Royal Highlanders (Black Watch) and Royal Scots Regiments and who would have served overseas as he was awarded the British War and Allied Victory Medals.

Can you help us to identify this soldier?
