Biography

2nd Air Mechanic B Crompton was serving with the Royal Flying Corps when he passed through Peterborough East Station on 27 January 1917 and wrote in the visitors’ book: “Very useful place for anyone who as to wait for trains at night & made most welcome”. 

Unfortunately we have been unable to trace any further information about this soldier and his service record has not been located.
