Biography

Private E Cooper passed through Peterborough East Station on 24 February 1917.  He was travelling with Private B Shulman who signed the visitors’ book on their behalf so there is no signature to help with identification.  They were serving with the 2/6 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, which was based in Norwich in February 1917, so it is possible that they were travelling to or from Norwich.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to find any information about Ernest Cooper.  Please get in touch if you can help us to identify this soldier.
