Biography
Private F Cage passed through Peterborough East Station and signed the visitors’ book on 13 June 1917. He wrote “To the kind & courteous ladies at this Peterboro “Sailors & Soldiers Rest” I would say – May they live has long as they want? And never want has Long has they live. “Wishing all success & much happiness”.
His entry states that he was serving with the 2/5th Kings Own Scottish Borderers billeted at World’s End Camp, Ballykinler. Ireland.
