Biography

Private F Woolnough was serving with the 2/6 Essex Regiment and stationed at Killinghall Moor Camp, Harrogate when he passed through Peterborough East Station on 22 August 1916 whilst “proceeding to Norwich on draft leave”.   Although Private Woolnough also gave his regimental number and regiment, we have been unable to trace him.
