Biography

Soldier H Howden passed through Peterborough East Station and signed the visitors’ book on 5 July 1916.  He was with a group of seven comrades all serving with the 2/7th (Leeds Rifles) Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment and would have been stationed at Somerleyton near Lowestoft.  He gave his address as 30 Gledhow Road, Roundhay Road, Leeds.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to trace anything further about this soldier.  Please get in touch if you can help us to identify this soldier.
