Biography

Private Harry King passed through Peterborough East Station on 9 November 1916 and signed the visitors’ book, where he revealed that he served with the 1/1 Battalion Lancashire Hussars and later the Army Service Corps. He also wrote: “Cannott advise you to go to a better restaurant than the on at Peterborugh Staition”.

The only record found is Harry’s Army medal card which shows he was awarded the British War and Allied Victory medals.
