Biography

Private (J or T) Buckley was serving with the Army Cyclist Corps when he passed through Peterborough East Station on 28 January 1917 and wrote in the visitor’s book: “Many thanks for the comfortable rest while waiting for a connection.”   He also mentions “Gt Yarmouth”, but we are unsure whether this where he was based or where he lived.

We have been unable to trace any information about this soldier.  Please get in touch if you can help us to identify him.
