Biography

Private John Kemp was serving with the Lancashire Fusiliers when he signed the visitors’ book at Peterborough East Station on 25 November 1916.  He was travelling with a group of soldiers from the same regiment.

His service records have not been found but his medal card reveals he was awarded the British War and Allied Victory Medals, indicating service overseas. He also served with the Labour Corps.
