Biography
Sergeant J Leeming passed through Peterborough East Station and signed the visitors’ book on 25 January 1917. He was serving with the 2/4 (Ross Highland) Battalion of the Seaforth Highlanders who were based at Cromer in January 1917. He wrote in the visitors’ book “Many thanks to the Ladies of the Soldiers & Sailors Rest at Peterborough for their Kindness to us all”
