Biography

Corporal John Sinclair passed through Peterborough East Station on 3 November 1916 and wrote in the visitors’ book:

“Mrs Terrier said to her pup
“In all lifes adversitie’s keep your tail up”

Stranded here but appreciated the comfort and
kindness given by the ladies in this Rest Room.”

It is thought he was Corporal John W Sinclair, regimental number 1474, but we have been unable to trace any further information on him.
