Biography

Lance Corporal  J Watson passed through Peterborough East Station and signed the visitors’ book on 1 August 1917.  He wrote ‘By Hook or by Crook I’ll be the last in this book’, but he was wrong.  There were two further entries squeezed in after his claim to fame!

Sadly with just J Watson to work with and no further regimental details, we have failed to identify our visitor so far.  Do you recognise the signature and if so can you help?
