Biography

Private James Jarvis passed through Peterborough East Station and signed the visitors’ book on 30 January 1917 writing “Many thanks for kindness & hospitality”.  His entry reveals he was serving with the 68th (Welsh) Divisional Cyclist Company Army Cycle Corps. His service records have not been located but his medal card shows he was awarded the British War and Allied Victory Medals.  We have been unable to find any further information on Private James Jarvis.
