Biography

Private J N Armstrong served with the 2/2 Battalion of the Monmouthshire Regiment and passed through Peterborough East Station on 25 January 1917.  He wrote in the visitors’ book “The Ladies of this Rest Room are acting up to the best traditions of their Sex”.

His service record has not survived and we have been unable to trace any further information about this soldier.
