Biography

Air Mechanic Jones was serving with the Royal Flying Corps when he passed through Peterborough East Station on 29 April 1917.  He wrote in the visitors’ book:

“Hears luck to the owner of this book and may her prospects tarry. For she is a sweet and charming girl, but unfortunately I’m married.”

We have been unable to positively identify this serviceman as he only left his surname in the visitors’ book.  Do you know a Jones who served in the Royal Flying Corps?  Do get in touch if you can tell us more.
