Biography

Soldier J R Wilkinson was serving with the Mechanical Transport Section Army Service Corps when he passed through Peterborough East Station on 1 May 1917.

His service record could not be located, but research suggests that he may be Private John Robert Wilkinson, Service No M2/194755.  His entry in the visitors’ book mentions The Lodge Farm, Scopwick, Lincoln; could this possibly be a home address?
