Biography

Private Harland passed through Peterborough East Station on 5 July 1916. We have been unable to positively identify this soldier as his service records have not survived, but we think it is possible that he is Gunner John W Harland who was serving with the Royal Garrison Artillery. We know that he served overseas as he was awarded the British War and Allied Victory Medals.
