Biography

Lance Corporal Langskaill passed through Peterborough East Station on 21 May 1917 and in the visitors’  book he records that he and his fellow comrades ‘were stranded here for eight hours, but found a “home from home” in the “Soldiers and Sailors Restroom”.  He was serving with the 2/9th Battalion Princess Louise’s (Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders).  No other information has been found on this soldier.
