Biography

This Private serving with the 2/4th Battalion Norfolk Regiment did not leave his name when he signed the visitors’ book at the tea room on Peterborough East Station on 2 October 1916.  His entry reads “A soldiers hot breakfast ‘Bread and mustard!’”  He was stationed at Killinghall Moor Camp, Harrogate.

Without a name or any other detail we are unable to research this soldier.  However, if you recognise the handwriting or the phrase he wrote in the visitors’ book as something a relative of yours may have used, please do get in touch.
