Biography

Trooper W Hall of the Northamptonshire Yeomanry is one of our untraced soldiers.  He passed through Peterborough East Station on 8 August 1916 and his entry in the visitors’ book reveals he was serving with the 2/1 Battalion based at Trusthorpe near Mablethorpe on the Lincolnshire coast.  His service number of 1378 suggests that he probably signed up around October/November 1914.
