Biography

Bandsman Walter Palmer was serving with the 2/4th Northamptonshire Regiment and stationed at Newmarket when he passed through Peterborough East Station and signed the visitors’ book on 19 June 1916.  In this period the Battalion moved from the Thetford area to Harrogate.  http://www.1914-1918.net/northants.htm
