Biography

Private George Wood, was serving with D Company, 2/6 (Morayshire) Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, when he passed through Peterborough East Station and signed the visitors’ book on 12 January 1917.  We learn from his entry that he was stationed at Melbourne House, Cromer and that he was from Edinburgh.

Unfortunately the service records for George Wood have not been located.
